Every list on YeboYes is built from the same checks, in the same order. This page explains them so you can disagree with us on the facts rather than on a number.
1. Can a South African actually use it?
We open the registration form with a South African address and check three things: whether the country is in the list at all, whether the rand is available as an account currency, and whether the cashier shows a payment method that works from a South African bank. An operator that fails this does not go into a list, however good the bonus looks.
2. Licence, and whether it can be checked
We record the licence the operator claims and then look for it in the regulator's own register — the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, the Malta Gaming Authority, the Gibraltar Licensing Authority or the relevant equivalent. A licence number we cannot find is reported as unverified. ⛔ No offshore operator holds a South African online casino licence, and we never say one does.
3. What the bonus really costs
We read the bonus terms, not the banner: the wagering multiple, whether it applies to the bonus alone or to bonus plus deposit, the maximum bet while wagering, the game weighting, the expiry window and the maximum cash-out. A R4 000 offer at 60× on deposit-plus-bonus is worth less than a R1 500 offer at 25×, and we say so.
4. Payments and payouts
We list the deposit and withdrawal methods that are actually visible in the cashier for a South African account, the minimum deposit in rand, the stated withdrawal window and any fee. Where an operator publishes a monthly withdrawal cap, that goes in the review too.
5. Support, in plain language
We ask support a question that has a factual answer — for example which documents are needed for a first withdrawal — and note how long a reply took and whether it answered the question.
6. What we do not do
- We do not invent bonus figures. If an operator does not publish a rand figure for South African players, the review says so instead of converting a euro amount and presenting it as fact.
- We do not publish player testimonials, editor photographs or "as seen on" badges.
- We do not describe an offshore site as licensed in South Africa.
- We do not change an order because an operator asks us to.
When a page was last checked
Operators change terms without notice. Each review carries the date we last opened the cashier and the terms page. If a fact on this site is out of date, tell us and we will re-check it — that is faster than us finding it ourselves.
