The money behind YeboYes, laid out in full.

“If the guide is free, who is paying?” is a fair question to put to any casino site. At YeboYes the payer is the casino. Below is the full picture: who pays, for what, which links are involved and which parts of the site that money is never allowed to reach.

Who pays us?

YeboYes Casino is a publication of Driftlane Online B.V.. That company holds partner contracts with several casino brands reviewed here, usually signed through the brands' own affiliate schemes. Click a YeboYes link to one of them, register, and the brand rewards us. One contract may pay a fixed amount for each player who funds a new account, another a cut of the brand's revenue from that player for a set period, a third a mix of the two. The contracts differ only in money; none of them buys a review or a rewrite of one. We sell no banner space, accept no fee for writing a review and ask nothing of readers.

Does it cost me anything?

No. The reward comes out of the casino's own margin. You pay YeboYes nothing, and your deposit, playthrough and cash-outs stay identical however you reached the casino. Its welcome deal is something the casino alone decides. Now and then a brand agrees a deal that only our readers get; a review that carries one says so.

Which links are tracked?

Every casino link that passes through our /go/ path is tracked — the logos and buttons in rankings and comparison tables, the “visit” button inside each review, and casino links placed in some guides. Registering after using one may earn us a reward. Links to regulators, banks, counselling services and news outlets are untracked and pay us nothing. Following a tracked link drops the cookies named in our privacy policy; that is the mechanism by which a casino credits a registration to YeboYes.

Who decides the order of a list?

Our commercial agreements do, and we would rather say it outright than bury it. Brands we have a deal with are ranked above brands we have none with; among partners, the terms of the deal and the size of the rand offer settle the order. A high place therefore reflects a business relationship. It is not a finding that the brand is the safest one or the right one for you.

The content of each review is another matter. Licence and issuing jurisdiction, the banking options actually in the cashier, the full playthrough rules, cash-out limits, our check date and every snag we hit are written up by one standard for partner and non-partner brands. No brand can pay to have an awkward fact removed, and a partnership never earns a brand a softer write-up.

Are guides and news paid for too?

No casino commissions an article. Our payment guides, playthrough explainers and news items are chosen because readers search for them or because something changed in the market. Some of those pages mention a partner brand and carry a tracked link to it; the article itself was not bought, and a partner sees it only once it is live, like everyone else. If a brand offers us money to publish a specific story, we decline it.

Do you cover casinos that pay you nothing?

Yes, whenever they matter to South African players — a big name with slow cash-outs, say. They go through the same checks. They just carry no tracked link and do not lead a ranking.

How are the two kept apart?

Whoever loads a cashier or reads a bonus contract writes down what they find, and partner deals are handled elsewhere without altering the checklist on how we rate. A partner who asks us to change a fact is refused. A partner who tells us a fact has changed is treated like any reader with a correction: we re-check, then update the page and its date.

What should I do with a ranking?

Treat it as a shortlist, not a verdict. Read the review, read the casino's terms, confirm you are 18 or over, and make sure you are comfortable with the legal picture in our disclaimer notice. Keep to a budget you could lose without harm; the responsible gambling section points to free support.

Will this page change?

Yes, if our partner arrangements shift in a way that makes anything above inaccurate. The “Last Update” line will show when.

Can I ask about one casino?

Certainly — ask us whether a particular brand pays YeboYes and we will tell you. Write to Driftlane Online B.V., Kaya Flamboyan 6, Willemstad, Curaçao, or email [email protected].
