ZarBet takes players from South Africa and holds a South African bookmaker licence. This page records what we could verify ourselves: the licence, the exact bonus terms in rand, the payment methods visible in the cashier, and where each number comes from. Anything we could not confirm is marked as unconfirmed rather than filled in.
The offer, in rand
The welcome offer is 200% up to R2 000 + 50 free spins with a minimum deposit of R50, 50 free spins. No no-deposit offer is published for South African players at the time of our check.
The wagering multiple is not published on the operator’s South African landing page. Read the bonus terms in the cashier before you accept the offer — a large headline figure with a high multiple is worth less than a small one at 25×. Our wagering guide explains the arithmetic.
Licence and market access
Licence recorded in our register: South African licence. It also holds a South African bookmaker licence, which is the only kind of gambling licence issued in this country for real-money play — there is no South African online casino licence, and no operator anywhere holds one.
Payments
Methods we saw in the cashier for a South African account: Instant EFT, Ozow, vouchers. Withdrawals normally return by bank transfer and clear in 24–72 hours; card refunds are rare in this market. See our payment methods guide for what each route costs.
What we checked
- Market access. Registration accepts a South African address and the cashier shows a local method.
- Licence. South African licence
- Bonus terms. 200% up to R2 000 + 50 free spins — minimum deposit R50
- Payments seen in the cashier. Instant EFT, Ozow, vouchers
- Where the figure comes from. Operator’s own published terms for South African players; confidence recorded as high.
Who it suits
On the numbers we could verify, the entry point is low — R50 gets you started; the welcome package includes 50 free spins; it is one of the few operators in our list with a South African licence.
Ranked against the rest of our list it currently sits at 9.4/10. The method behind that number is on how we rate, and the full list is on independent casinos.
Before you deposit
18+ only. Online casino gambling is not licensed in South Africa under the National Gambling Act 7 of 2004 — nothing on this page says otherwise. Bonus terms change without notice; the operator’s own terms page is the only binding version. Free, confidential help: NRGP 0800 006 008 or SMS 076 675 0710.
